If your Swan Crossover Hard Floor Cleaner is not running for as long as expected, try the following checks:
- Fully charge before first use. Make sure the battery is fully charged before using the cleaner for the first time.
- Allow the recommended charging time. A full charge takes approximately 3–4 hours.
- Disconnect once fully charged. Once charging is complete, disconnect the charger rather than leaving the appliance connected for extended periods.
- Check the expected runtime. The cleaner provides up to 30–56 minutes of runtime, depending on the selected cleaning mode and the surface being cleaned.
- Consider your cleaning settings. Higher power modes and heavily soiled surfaces may use more battery and reduce runtime.
- Check the charging contacts. Ensure they are clean and free from dust or debris.
If you have completed these checks and the battery life is still significantly shorter than expected, a replacement battery can be purchased through the Swan website.
