If you have noticed rust inside your microwave, please carry out the following checks:
- Inspect the inside of the microwave to identify where the rust is located.
- Check for any damage to the interior coating, such as chips, scratches or peeling paint.
- Ensure the microwave is cleaned regularly, as food residue and moisture can contribute to corrosion over time.
- Wipe away any moisture after use and leave the door open for a short time to allow the interior to dry.
- Do not use the microwave if the rust has caused the interior coating to peel or expose the metal beneath.
If the rust is minor and the interior coating is intact, continue to monitor the area. If the interior coating is damaged, the metal is exposed, or the rust is spreading, and your microwave is still within its warranty period, please contact our Customer Service team for further assistance.
